The Archery Association of Nova Scotia is pleased to host the test event for the 2011 Canada Winter Games! We will be welcoming all core team members and Canada Games hopefuls to Sackville, Nova Scotia, on Sept 18^th and 19^th, 2010. 

The shoot will be held at Sackville High School, which is the official venue for the Canada Games. This will be an excellent opportunity for athletes to get used to the venue and experience the basic format of the Canada Games event. It will also allow organizers to test equipment and train volunteers.

There is a limit of 48 compound shooters and 48 recurve shooters so register early to get your spot.  All registrations must be received by August 1, 2010.  We will accept 4 registrations from each equipment class per province before June 1. Then we will open up all the spots. First come, first serve.  

Registration fee is $40.00 per athlete. Simply print the form from the link below, attach a cheque and mail it to the address provided. 

Accommodations:

A preferred rate has been set at the Downsview Motel of $69.00 for a double room. Simply mention "Canada Games Archery Test Event".

This establishment is quite close to the venue but still too far to walk. For ground transportation, both Hertz and Enterprise offer rentals at Halifax's Robert Stanfield International Airport.
