I am happy to report that we were able to hold a provincial Judges clinic this past January. We had five new judge candidates attend the clinic and two sitins, one being a provincial judge, and the other a provincial judge candidate yet to complete his training. The five judge candidates were JoAnne spencer, Randy Stevenson, Alfie O’Quinn, Christian Marrotte and Bill Currie, Also sitting the clinic was Glennys Ward-Eversley who is already a provincial judge and Ken Saulnier who has yet to complete his training.

We covered all aspects of officiating from target to field and 3-D.

We are hoping to send four of these candidates to the Canadian Nationals in Laval P.Q. this summer so they can start on their way to becoming qualified National Judges in time for the Canadian Winter Games which are being held here in Nova Scotia in 2011 where I am sure that these judge will show that they are more than qualified to judge any archery tournament they are asked to judge and do it fairly and to the best of their ability.

I am listing all the judges who have taken the local judge exams and passed for Target ,Field and 3-D. In order to remain on this list you must be a paid up member of the Archers Association of Nova Scotia as well as a member of the Federation of Canadian Archers
